The 2021 Practice season commences

We've just had our AGM, we've gone over the details of the last year, elected some new officers to run the side and had a good chat about Morris in general.  So the next thing is the start of the next winter season when we meet up on Thursday evenings to learn new dances and to practice the old ones.  Here's the details: We meet at the Methodist Hall in Quay Street, Newport at 20:15 on Thursdays. The first practice evening of 2021 will be 4th of November (a bit later than we'd normally start due to some technical difficulties with access to the hall) We absolutely welcome new dancers to the team, Winter practices are the time we teach the steps and sequences of the dances so anyone with even a passing interest in traditional dance is most welcome come along. If you want to just meet up with us to check out how friendly we are come along to the Prince of Wales pub in Newport (near the bus station) on Thursday 28th October, when we will be getting together for a bit of a social evening, about 8:30. If you want some more information please email our bagman (the equivalent of the club secretary) bagman@menofwight.org.uk
